The National Association of Medical Spanish is a group of professionals including educators, physicians, linguistis, interpreters, translators and other highly qualified experts who have come together to share strategies and join efforts in improving Medical Spanish education. Since March 2018, they are working together to unify and standardize medical linguistic education for U.S. physicians, medical students, and beyond. Due to the nature of our projects, most of NAMS members are bilingual or fluent in English and Spanish.

Since we are a non-for-profit organization (designated as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS), all NAMS team members always work on a voluntary basis.
