NAMS Interns

Vivi Benishek is a bilingual emerging professional from sunny San Diego with a strong interest in public affairs, language justice, community engagement, and global perspectives. Born and raised in a military family, she developed an early passion for travel and exploring the diverse cultures that shape our world.
She graduated with a dual BA degree with honors in Public Policy Studies and Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture from The University of Chicago in 2025. Empathetic, driven, and eager to grow, Vivi has always been dedicated to uplifting Latinx/Hispanic families, whether through supporting underprivileged Spanish-speaking students or addressing food insecurity in LATAM.
Now, she is proudly contributing to medical linguistic initiatives alongside the NAMS team, helping to achieve language-concordant care for all patients.

Jenny Miller  recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Biomedical Sciences, as well as additional minors and certificates in Spanish and Portuguese. Throughout college and beyond, her goal has been to integrate her love for learning new languages and their respective cultures with her passion for medicine and improving communication in healthcare. Joining NAMS has allowed her to fulfill this goal.

Despite spending hours studying for the MCAT, Jenny finds time to enjoy activities such as working out— Pilates, boxing, or running—volunteering with Special Olympics Florida, cooking, and spending time with friends and  family. She is extremely grateful for this position and excited to see where it takes her.
