Internship Programme
In alignment with NAMS' mission our Internship Programme is designed to provide our interns with a wide range of learning opportunities not only in the admin field, but also to build skills for the healthcare industry, with emphasis on non-for-profit project management, medical Spanish, interdisciplinary collaboration, and health professions education.
NAMS Intern - 2024-2025
Jenny Miller recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Biomedical Sciences, as well as additional minors and certificates in Spanish and Portuguese. Throughout college and beyond, her goal has been to integrate her love for learning new languages and their respective cultures with her passion for medicine and improving communication in healthcare. Joining NAMS has allowed her to fulfill this goal.
Despite spending hours studying for the MCAT, Jenny finds time to enjoy activities such as working out—Pilates, boxing, or running—volunteering with Special Olympics Florida, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She is extremely grateful for this position and excited to see where it takes her.
